Re: -22- Another continuation hand
Pre-flop is fine.
Post-flop, you are way ahead/way behind, so you don't particularly mind giving free cards. It's reasonable to check in this situation, and call anything he bets. Personally, I jam and hope he calls me with something worse. But your stacks are so small, I'm guessing all the money's going in no matter what, so I wouldn't stress about it too much. Yes, you have to call his raise at the end. |

Re: -22- Another continuation hand
that's what I figured as well, but he turned up 7h,6h and the board ran out Kd, Ks so i held up. I've just been taking a look at my c-bet strategy in general, and this hand felt like it was a classic where I didn't want to give a free card (A, K, heart), and if I bet out I am essentially committing my entire stack.
I guess I still feel that I have to bet out, and call any raise, but I do it with a grimace. |

[/ QUOTE ] I don't particularly like seeing a heart, an 8, an ace, or a king on the turn. Given that about a third of the deck is a card I don't want to see, I can't fathom giving a free card here. I push and hope he calls with a lower PP or some draw. |
