I'll have to go with Diablo on this one. If you're gonna agree to do the interview at least give the guy that 30 solid minutes (or whatever you see fit) of your time.

As for the interview format, why not do phone interviews with people and transcribe it? I'm sure it will come out much better for all your readers when its cleaned up a little. I doubt many subjects would object to a short phone discussion. I hope you keep with this, I'm sure you'll get lots of interesting sessions.

Sure, but the guy asks me to interview me and I say, okay! I agree that it could have been better, but this certainly didn't feel like I was giving an official interview. Sorry if I gave Sponger a hard time, but I don't have any obligation to people who will read this interview or to the interviewer for that matter. He wanted to kick off his web page thing and I said I'd be around if he wanted to ask a few questions. As I said, I was more than willing to expand on my answers, but there was a lack of structure(as he pointed out, there was no way for me to clarify when I was done, etc.). You're right that it would have been better if I were more focused or we had communicated better, I suppose I got defensive because Sponger's tone was pretty accusatory with his whole "It would be nice" stuff. I'd also be willing to speak with Mentor and improve it if he'd like, but considering I was doing the guy a favor in the first place I'd appreciate it if people wouldn't give me [censored] for playing while I spoke with him.

"MentorPoker: What was your hourly rate
James282: no idea
James282: but i won about 3 bucks a hand
James282: which is pretty good "

at 300 hands/hour thats $900 hourly, 7.5ptbb/100hands over 178 hours(42hrs/wk)

300 hands/hr is steep for full ring.

80 buyins in a month is ridiculous...time to go to 10/25 or 25/50 id say.

Hey ghost, I don't consider myself that great at NL yet. Plus, the money at 10/20 is good enough that I am not motivated to move up. My hourly this month has been considerably lower, and as I said, those results were from both limit and NL.

It was a favor by James, and I really enjoyed doing it. His responses were not delayed very long. And anyway, if we had 110% of his attention we would have not gotten all the great freudian slips, like what he really thinks about Gonores and Schneids (tools!)j/k

but the real question is, who will be my next victim ¬¿¬
I think Diablo practically nominated himself!

Sup Mentor!

I enjoyed reading the interview, but as others have mentioned already it should have been structured more like a formal interview.

Gonores is also a favorite of mine along with Stoxtrader if you can manage to get them.

Oldies include Mike L, AndyFox, and of course El Diablo.

Hello,

Since everyone apparently ignored my first post, I am asking again if anyone could please copy paste the interview into a post. It would be very much appreciated.

Thanks
