Default Dell 2001FP

I just want to thank this forum for showing me the way. I recently took advantage of the deal for the Dell 2001FP and am loving every minute of it. Dell's shipment was very quick, taking only 3 business days from order to my door. After setting it up in about 5 minutes and downloading a couple of programs I found in the Dual Monitor FAQ, I was ready to go. I can't believe it took me this long to buy one.

If anyone has been thinking about getting one but just can't bring themselves to buy it, do it! There is nothing like being able to play four tables at once with no overlap and the screen quality is ridiculous. Just wanted to thank the Zoo for enhancing my poker playing ten fold.

What did you pay....I've never found one under $500 and I refuse to pay more.

I paid 495.45 total but I had to pay tax on it because there is a Dell outlet somewhere in my state. Without tax, it came to 467.40. I also went through Fatwallet which gave about 14 bucks cash back. So I actually only paid 481 something. If you wait, Dell will probably have some good deals at the end of this quarter which is fast approaching. But believe me, it is definately worth every penny.

its only like $20 cheaper, but possibly without warranty, and perhaps even a scam or two thrown in there

you have to read the description very carefully. I found one that I thought was a bargain, but it came with no power cord, pedestal or cable. Just the monitor only. OMFG. I have been an ebayre since it opened, but buying from Dell I did not wory about getting screwed over. I knew it would be fine. Some ebayers are really shady or just downright crooks.

You're absolutely right. I ALMOST bought the same one. Instead I went through Dell and paid around $530 shipped.
