Dude, you gotta bet this river. You have 6 players begging to call with their J5o K9o, busted draw but "he might be bluffing" hands. Bet bet bet. This is a nice !@#$ing table.

always bet the river when checked to with a good hand unless there is something like a 4 flush or a 4 straight and there are multiple opponents. they will call the flop with a pair or draw, they will call the turn with a pair or a draw, and on the river they will say 'well only one more bet and i have a pair'. don't fear things like QT, of course they will have hands like that sometimes but if you get c/r'd then you can fold and not worry.

Looks like I missed out on at least 2 bb's here. I guess I need to work on timid tendencies.

SB shows [ 9h, Qh ] a pair of nines.
BB doesn't show [ 6h, 3d ] high card jack.
UTG+1 shows [ Qd, Jd ] a pair of jacks.
UTG+2 shows [ Jc, Ks ] a pair of jacks.
CO doesn't show [ Qs, Kd ] high card king.
Hero shows [ Ac, Jh ] a pair of jacks.
Ainex1 wins $15.75 from the main pot with a pair of jacks with ace kicker.

<Grunch>

Its been a while, but I'm back working on my limit game again for a while, so I'll give some hands a shot...

This situation is tough. I've been occasionally trying a tactic that I read in the Loose Game section in HEFAP (is that the right acronym, anyway).

Preflop: Just call here. No one is going anywhere and you're doing nothing but bloat the pot. Consequently, if any of your opponents flop any sort of draw, the pot will be sufficiently large that they may have correct odds to call - and you make money when your opponents make mistakes.

Post flop - I play it generally the same.

I hate this situation and its so damn hard to determine whether someone flopped a weak 2 pair or who knows what.

</grunch>

'Twill be interesting to see correct answers.

there is probably someone with a J with a lower kicker, two pair is probably gonna raise 8 out of 10 times in those games and then u probably got your QJ in there and maybe a pocket pair lower then the board that missed.

While it is true that raising preflop accidentally makes bad players draw correctly there is a flip side to that that says if the players are SO bad that they will draw regardless of pot odds punish them for limping. This table was weaker than average and if possible I wanted the blinds out.

Easy pre-flop raise on the button here. Standard flop and turn play. I would bet the river easily.

Alright since the concensus is bet the river what should we do if we get raised? I can't imagine any hand raising us here that we can beat but the pot is probably worth the call.
