Is the WHOLE cruise filled with poker-players? I suspect there were more poker-players on the PPM cruise on the MS Oosterdam and perhaps your cruise has SOME poker-players AND some regular cruise-goers. Not sure. The MAIN poker-room was in the upstairs part of the dining-room. They had 50-60 tables in there I think. There was also a smaller room near the computer area (and kind of near the library maybe??) which had 15 tables. The tourney was divided between these two rooms...but the ring-games were in the upstairs part of the dining-room. I liked the dining-room part....if the sun wasn't shining through too badly than sometimes they wouldn't close the shades. Big poker tournament with nothing but the clear-blue ocean out the window for scenery. Not too shabby. I imagine the poker-area will depend on how many players they hav and how much room they determine is necessary. they could conceiveably use a completely different area for the poker. |
