Default 30/60 Blind battle w/GUILTY4LIFE

I have been datamining the 100/200 game all night along with the 50/100's and some 30/60's and I've got guilty4life at about 36/25/2.75. He has openraised a few times, and I have 3bet a fair number of them. An orbit ago or so he raised I 3bet KJs, board was KTTxx and he checkcalled A8o the whole way. He is down 6k or so since last night so he may be tilting along with being on his like 20th hour.

That said though, he hasn't been quite as aggressive postflop as I expected from his numbers.

Folded to him in the SB and he raises, I call with K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Flop A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

He bets and I raise, he calls.

Turn 7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

He checks, I bet, he checkraises, I call.

River A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

He bets and I call.

Taking it too far or ok?

Any prefer a straight calldown, maybe a call, turn raise?

DrG

if you are showdown bound with this hand against him I would want to do it the cheapest possible line.

you really only beat a bluff with a pair of deuce.

i feel like this is the kind of hand i'd show you and you'd be like 'ian, no no no'

i think you should fold to the turn c/r or 3bet for a free showdown

Not sure about preflop.

Like the flop raise...but I think I fold on the turn.

Why has Guilty4Life reached named opponent status?

Clearly you know this guy better than me - how do you play this hand differently than me then?

[/ QUOTE ]i dont want to talk about him too much, because he may read here, but he is not much of a SH player... his game 4handed and 10way are almost identical.

he may not be a great player, but he is not a fishie either. So when a decent thinking player takes this line I would go showdown cheaply as possible.
