[ QUOTE ]
a player open limped in the cutoff with QJo and you said that was an okay play. it is the 2nd best option, but not the highest EV option. QJo is a clear raise in the cutoff regardless of who is in the blinds due to the chance of stealing the blinds and the equity that QJo has in that position in an unopened pot. i don't think this is debatable.

[/ QUOTE ]

Open limping with QJ in the CO on a table full of crappy calling stations is horrible. I didn't hear them say this so I dunno what the content was but I can't imagine open limping there would ever be a good idea in a game like this.

Can you guys talk a little about the kinds of tells you are looking for in a game like this.. Sure there are the classics discussed in caro's book, but beyond that, any suggestions?

Did Ed Miller's brother write a book? When did it come out?

What about his brother-in-law?

Default do any of you play against the people on the telecast?

I would think that you would love to find games with them in there because you know their tendency of play from broadcasting on them so often.

Thanks in advance.

"If its good enough to call, you gotta be in there raising. Tight, but aggressive. And that's your style, Professor. I mean... you gotta think of it as a war."

I like the one guy clapping in the background for the Yankees. Too bad his bubble is about to burst.

I'm sure Fox are really going to love the Angels/White Sox ALCS and Astros/Cards NLCS.
