Who is your best pick for NFL next week?
I am in a last man standing pool with friends. No point spread. Pick one team a week. Once you have used them, you can't pick them again.
So far this season I am undefeated and I have used Indy, Pittsburgh, Philly, Cincinnati, and Denver. Who do you pick next week and why? The schedule for week 6 is below. Jacksonville at Pittsburgh 1:00 PM CBS Tickets Heinz Field Miami at Tampa Bay 1:00 PM CBS Tickets Raymond James Stadium Cleveland at Baltimore 1:00 PM CBS Tickets M&T Bank Stadium Atlanta at New Orleans 1:00 PM Fox Tickets Alamodome Minnesota at Chicago 1:00 PM Fox Tickets Soldier Field NY Giants at Dallas 1:00 PM Fox Tickets Texas Stadium Carolina at Detroit 1:00 PM Fox Tickets Ford Field Cincinnati at Tennessee 1:00 PM CBS Tickets The Coliseum Washington at Kansas City 1:00 PM Fox Tickets Arrowhead Stadium New England at Denver 4:15 PM CBS Tickets Invesco Field NY Jets at Buffalo 4:15 PM CBS Tickets Ralph Wilson Stadium San Diego at Oakland 4:15 PM CBS Tickets Network Associates Coliseum Houston at Seattle 8:30 PM ESPN Tickets Qwest Field MON, OCT 17 TIME (ET) TV TICKETS LOCATION St. Louis at Indianapolis 9:00 PM ABC Tickets RCA Dome |

Re: Who is your best pick for NFL next week?
I am in the same type of thing. I never take roads teams, so the games I am looking at are TB over Miami, Sea over Hou, or KC over Washington. I am leaning towards TB unless Cadillac doesn't play then I will propbably take SEA.

Seattle looks like the easy play. They're the safer pick and on top of that they're not good enough to want to "save".

First thought is Seattle, but ATL could be a good pick if Vick starts, which I think he will.

[/ QUOTE ] Your strategy should depend upon the number of players in the league. Against 2 other guys, you should just pick the best team no matter what each week. Against 50 players in Yahoo! Public League or something, you may want to save the best teams if you're only giving up a very small edge. |

Re: Who is your best pick for NFL next week?
Im still standing against 9 players and I see no choice but Seattle. I agree with all said for this pick. The 2 donkeys that got knocked last week in my pool were on TB. NFL= Take the home team always. Well there are exceptions like Indy at SF yesterday. Funny thing in my pool no one has taken NE yet. Has anyone here taken NE they really have not been in a good spot yet. btw I had to sweat Denver yesterday as did a lot of players in my pool.

It's starting to look like Seattle or Atlanta. I still have not used New England but I am not going to start with them going to Denver.
