What range did you put me on to call off 95% of your chips PF w/ A4o?

Regards,
Woodguy

Preflop I think you could have any 2, ( I think this is reasonable)

After the SB flat called I decided it was a good spot for a steal/squeeze play, though I probably should of pushed.(you still might call?)

After you pushed I berated myself for not pushing in the first place but really felt I had the best hand.

The pot was laying me roughly 2-1 at this point and just had to go with my read.

Fair enough.

For those interested, Whitey and I were in the $10R together.

I have 56K on the button, he has me covered by 5Kish

I open raise to 4500 on the button w/ KJ sooted, SB flat calls, Whitey raises to 22K.

I have notes on him that he likes to flat call with AA/KK type hands so I read it for a squeeze or not believing my raise, so I push.

He goes into his bank and calls.

Getting 2:1 the call is close, but I could easily have you dominated or in really bad shape.

The pain of a Jxx flop, followed by a turn 4 and a river 4 to bust me pissed me off and I whined at him, asking if he put me on A3.

Spend my chips wisely.

Regards,
Woodguy

It was a terrible way to lose that pot.

8th of 44 atm with 186K, getting to the mad period.

I bet you think twice before attacking his blinds in the future though (as probably the whole table will).

Marginal call, I like just pushing from the bb there if you are going to call the re-raise push. Poorly thought out pre-flop (since he put himself in a tough spot unnecessarily) but nice meta game implications.
