Default Bar Stool Pundits week 5

The Bar Stool Pundits have had an amazing run so far. They have led us to 10-0-1! Let's see if it continues.

This week, the Bar Stool Pundits can't wait to get their money on a team that is always popular with them.

Philly -3 at Dallas Philly is also a pick for 3 out of 4 of the Yahoo Experts, and 3 out of the four ESPN experts who have picked so far. That is excellent news.

Indy -14.5 at SF Well, we all saw what a miserable team SF was during the Mexico debacle. And now they're giving the rookie QB his first start where he only has to try to keep up with one of the best offenses in history. Should be no problem for the Colts....

There are some other games in contention and I may add a couple more on Sunday morning. Carolina, Green Bay, and Tampa Bay are pretty lopsided and may end up as BSP picks.

As always, good luck whatever side you take. I'll be on:

Dallas +3
SF +14.5

PS: Yes, I'm already biased on the Dallas game. I would have bet it anyway but there's no denying the BSPs are all over Philly. Philly is a great team and they may very well slaughter Dallas, we'll see.

Also good news--about 90% of 3+1ers picking this game are taking Philly.

I know you're on Philly this week. They are definitely the better team, but the situation is just terrible. Second consecutive road game, desperate division rival, banged up QB, *classic* difficult game. Also, I am still stinging from the last time I bet on Philly to win at Dallas and Andy Reid opened with an onside kick that was returned for a touchdown by D. 14:55 on the clock, 7-0 dallas. Ugly.

Looking at the numbers and the skill matchups, your bet looks great. Is those damn intangibles....

Good luck regardless. I won't begrudge you the win, the BSPs have been good to me and they have to get on the right side SOMETIME, maybe they are for this game. This is the first BSP fade that I LIKE and feel good about, so it's probably the first one we'll lose. HA.

I agree - I find it hard to believe so many people are giddy over the idea of betting against Parcells in a must-win home division game.
I will also add I'm surprised you didn't mention Tampa as a BSP pick, and disapointed that Miami wasn't included

I'm predicting the correction starts this week...the BSPs will get at least 1 win, if not 2. Good work as always NateDogg, but I cannot beat these games as the previous strategy suggested. I guess I should purchase me one of those bar stools.
