This is nasty. I think you just have to bite the bullet and push. Just calling may produce another spade and then you will know for sure you are beat. With the amount you have invested in this hand, and the small amount you have left, you have to take your shot right now and hope no one has a flush (or catches one). If someone has trips (unlikely) or 2 pair, hey ho that's poker. Push, pray and fire up another if you lose.

I concur (spelling?).
Anyways with the amount that you have put in the center already, even with the spade falling I cannot see any other choice than pushing this. I mean you COULD fold, but then you have 300 left and are probably going to have to piss 100 of it away waiting for a good hand to push later anyways. Take your shot and if you miss, like the above poster said... bring on the next one.

you know- I had my teeth around the bullet, and I thought, "gee, I know I'm beat with NO OUTS, so WHY am I pushing here? You'll still have 10x blinds... Have some control"- folded. River was a blank, original turn bettor bets out 50, last caller thinks forever and calls- bettor had Txo (for middle pair), caller had KJo- neither had any spades. Other folder later said he had KJ too...
I did NOT fire up another one. I stewed, calmly went out w/my K9s vs A2o BB vs SB a few hands later, then punched a shoe... you know, the usual. [img]/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img]
