Default Quick Pre-Flop Q

PokerStars 2/4 Hold'em (8 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is CO with 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. Hero posts a blind of $2.
<font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, MP2 calls, Hero (poster) checks, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, BB calls, MP2 calls, Hero calls.

Your reasoning? I'm closing the action at 7-1, and if I'm remembering correctly from one of Peter_Rus' posts on blind play, those are about the odds of flopping two pair or a flush draw. And if I do hit one, I'm in position to extract the maximum.

I call that raise all day long. Besides the pot odds issue that you already addressed, there's the table image issue...if I do hit my hand &amp; win at showdown, I want the whole table to know from hand 1 that I'm not folding my blinds lightly, so raise them at their own risk.

But mainly, I'm just a sucker for sooted cards.
