Default this is standard or do I lead here?

i think the c/r gets me able to cap the flop but slows down the rest of the action.

lead on the 'rivered' flush?

i raise preflop and lead flop, the way you played it or if you get 3-bet, check/raise is standard

and yes, lead on "rivered flush"

I do. If MP1 or whoever raised 3-bet me pre-flop then I would c/r off him on the flop to trap the field, if not, I lead the flop.

At a tighter table (typical Party 5/10) you probably want to be raising 99 PF. Given that the raiser had 3 cc'ers (no-man's-land for 99), it looks like you understood the table and limped accordingly.

After everybody folds, I would have c/red the turn instead of capping the flop (if anybody had called 3-bets then I like capping). Villian isn't going anywhere, probably has an overpair and not a flush draw, and is almost a cinch to bet the turn.

On the turn, villian's giving you credit for something that beats his probable overpair. If you check the river, he's checking behind with most everything you beat and only betting with stuff that beats you.

Checkraising the flop is nice, you trapped two extra players for more bets. Once PF Raiser 3 bets and knocks those two out, I'd call. Planning to check raise the turn. If MP2 and SB called MP1's 3 bet, then I'd cap the flop.

And yes, lead on the rivered flush.

disclaimer: I'm NOT a great player, but here's an alternative, what do you think?

Lets say for arguments sake, we aren't gonna try fold any draws and just try get the biggest pot possible.

Your scenario pulled in a 14.5BB pot

a different scenario:
preflop: 11SB
flop: check/call +4 SB = 15SB
turn: hero checks, mp1 bets, mp2 and SB call, hero raises, all call: + 8BB = 15.5BB's
river: hero bets, Mp1 calls, others fold: +2BB's
total: 17.5BB's

An extra 3 BB's is nice. I know that the turn scenario is very optimistic, but even if we lose one guy we still have a total pot of 15.5 which is 1 more. I guess if we're only gonna score an extra 1BB by letting the other limpers have a chance to draw out on you then it's not worth it, but what if the reward is that possible extra 3?
