How do you play the river?
Villain has only been at the table for 20 hands, but has seemed passive over that time.

Re: How do you play the river?
I call, if he sucked out on you, he sucked out on you...you have top two pair. I find more often than not if a person hit a flush or straight on the river and I had been leading the whole way, I get check raised. You'll win this 1 in 8 times to be profitable.

Obviously not folding... considering raising.

Re: How do you play the river?
Hands that beat you:
AT: 16 but discounted because he would have to have called the flop and turn with a gutshot and overcard Ac8c: 1 some other club combination: 3-5 (discounted for hanging in on the flop with a backdoor draw) Hands you beat that just improved: KJ: 6 KT: 8 AK: 8 (probably more like 6 since he'd be more likely to reraise with AKs) I'd say you might have room for a raise, but if Villain actually is passive, then calling would be fine. 20 hands isn't much of an indicator though. |

Re: How do you play the river?
I wish I could raise here but I'm so used to seeing a random RR flush that called w/some pair on the flop that I just can't see raising being right. DO you really want to fold to a 3 bet?
