I registered for limit/spread limit shootout in Bay 101. Anyone played those before so I know what to expect. Should I practice some limit tourneys or first levels just play like a cash game? 1 to 20x BB spread is pretty large so I assume it plays like NL when it goes to spread limit.

[/ QUOTE ] is this what all their spread limits are? i've wanted to head out there and try some of their tourneys out, but couldn't find the format on their website for the spread limits, and it seems thats almost all they offer. |

Typical spread limit tourneys have 40x max bet (some san jose regulation) plays like a NL tourney considering the fast structure.
I think their website has the structures for all the tourneys, very fast typically but considering it's a single table I think 20 min blinds maybe not so bad so decided to try. 30 min blinds for final table. |

Play tight the first hour while it's limit and only play draws in position (You need those chips in the 2nd hour0. Then open up and play NL as normal. Practice your short handed playing and HU playing. Approach the first table like a winner takes all SitnGo and get aggressive.
