At least it wasn't a gutshot.

You guys are all hillarious. Why not save the black humor for another thread. This was a serious event, a friend of mine and Scotty's got shot. Grow up.

Default The Boston Area Game @ Ray\'s House...

Now, now...this has nothing to do with race...

Fine. You are not invited to Ray's game. No one said your
friend getting shot was funny, and we ARE serious about starting
a new game. Jesus, are you originally from NY? Calm down kid.

I would think that if the stakes you're playing make the game worth robbing, you can probably afford to hire some security of some kind, like a freindly off duty cop or bouncer- not that that would be any good against three 'gunmen' (yikes!), but it's probably enough to convince them to find an easier mark.

7) consider playing privately online. many websites offer private rooms or private tournaments. With your group you can have a weekly homegame w/o leaving your home.

[/ QUOTE ]

This defeats the purpose of a home game. Being near your friends is part of the fun. You could go to a casino and schedule a private game there, Commerce will do It.

black comedy has nothing to do with race, genius...look it up.

Point is, I was trying to warn folks, post some serious comments, and all of a sudden there are gut-shots and giggles. Regardless of everyone's jeuvenile sense of humor, I hope the warning is headed.

I found out through the grapevine that another game was hit by gunmen in Braintree last week. So that is two games in the Boston area over two weeks. Just be cautious. Save the humor for threads intened to be funny.
