yes that should go into your equation also. but it's worth noting that the reason you do that in a tournament is because of all the hands that will come afterwards. in cash game there's always the possibility of getting up and leaving. in this game, you essentially get up and leave

Yeah, but I think people are failing to realize that you can turn 100K into $1M through investments and whatnot.

In a tourney, you can't invest in Fossilman's fossil collection with half your chipstack, and wait for 30 minutes to find that you made a 25% gain.

People that go for 1M and miss are losing the opportunity to make 100K or 25K. Opportunity cost.

Most people, if they actually learned how to kick a football, which is something you can learn the basics of in a few months if you work with a coach, could get it there from maybe 30-35 but not 45 yards. Only those with exceptional lower body strength as well as top-notch technique could make from that range.
