Re: Poker Journals
I find it really interesting that all of these, along with most of the more journal-like stuff posted on here are all written by relatively low-limit players. I'm a relatively high-limit player and would be interested in reading stuff about higher limit games. I guess higher limit players have more to lose by giving away information both about how they play and about the games they play in. Overall, I'm impressed with the amount of thought and effort that many of the 2/4 and 3/6 players on this forum put into poker.

Re: Poker Journals
Anyone notice that the fourth link is allegedly a journal by Dutch Boyd?

Re: Poker Journals
Just so everyone knows, I'm making the Odyssey into a blog. I've been thinking about doing it for a few weeks and this thread finally gave me the motivation to get the ball rolling.
I think it'll be fun. http://apokerodyssey.blogspot.com/ Peace, jHE |

Re: Poker Journals
Straight from webopedia: Short for Web log, a blog is a Web page that serves as a publicly-accessible personal journal for an individual. Typically updated daily, blogs often reflect the personality of the author.

Re: Poker Journals
I just wanted to correct my earlier post. I said the fourth link and I meant the fifth or last link. I copied it below. Note that he mentions in his 08/03 update that he went to Vegas and purports to finishing 12th in the WSOP (which is the finishing position of Dutch). His name there is Rusty Boyd. So, this journal is either Dutch Boyd or someone purporting to be Dutch Boyd.

It is him. RGP had a discussion about this a while ago, and they came to this conclusion. |

Re: Poker Journals
go to Daniel N's site - he's got a decent updated journal (though more like once a tourney then once a week) - and he's a pro.
