Hero(LP)(29.50) Bick (MP1) (24.15) 10 handed empire 25nl game hero is dealt J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 2fold, Bick calls .25, 2 fold, Hero calls .25, 2 fold villain (SB) raises to 1, BB folds, Bick calls, Hero calls. flop (3.25) 2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Villain bets 3, Bick folds, hero calls 3 turn (9.25) 3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Villain bets 8, hero folds i know the hand isn't that interesting, but just this morning i started playing again, for the first time sisnce august, and i know i'm off my game, and this is the type of play that I'm having trouble with... thanks in advance -little fishy |

I think this probably should be raised on the flop. Villain might call a mid-sized raise with TT or 99, and so there is value in the raise apart from just finding out where we are in the hand (which never justifies a raise on it's own).
