Table Selection
Is there any point sitting at tables with a VPIP table average of < 30%? This is regarding 6max only.
When I look for a table, I look for high average pot size, and then I try to get a seat to the left of a 100xBB+ stack with VPIP > 50% and a WTSD > 25%. Otherwise I won't even bother sitting at the table. I feel like the only way I can make money is by nut peddling against these Laggy calling stations. Any thoughts? |

Re: Table Selection
its doable to make money against weaktighties but you'll be doing more work than nut peddling.
good for practice though. |

Re: Table Selection
I prefer the passive tables unless I'm in a bear hunt mood.
Look for high Vp$iP, low PFR and low-medium average pot size. The alternative is to look for high everything and play set or fold with all your pairs etc.. I don't see much mileage in looking for low Vp$ip tables - who wants to play in a rock garden? |

Re: Table Selection
I tend to look for tables with the highest average pots and then try to get position on the biggest stack if thats an option. If I feel a table is bad I'll give it 2 more orbits then move on.
