[ QUOTE ] I check all these, and bet any flop when checked to. [/ QUOTE ] Including, say, an AK3 flop? [/ QUOTE ] If I check preflop and villain checks the flop to me, I am betting literally 100% of the time. That flop looks just scary to villain as it does to me. |

Re: 6 6max pf scenarios
I probably give up at that point.
Seriously, you're getting 2:1 on your flop bet. You pick up the pot right there much more often than 33% of the time. |

Re: 6 6max pf scenarios
1. You're giving villain way too much credit. This is ML. Villain would routinely check an A in this spot, and he's probably assuming I would too. He's not thinking about what I have.
2. It is extremely likely that villain missed this flop. I understand that villain may be suspicious about my bet, but he still isn't going to be able to justify a call with J7o or whatever he limped with. |

[/ QUOTE ] I usually do it about half the time and take a free card with the really weak hands. It just seems like if you're leading 100% into the same guy at the table over and over he starts to get wise and call down, play back, or c/r when he actually makes a hand. And that many of the guys that open complete regularly here are the 80VPIP/80WTSD types that will call your q-high with a-high. |

[/ QUOTE ] no. you raise preflop to exploit an equity edge irregardless of the flop. and you're edge is waaay to small to make the extra SB worth it here. the villains will play postflop regardless of your preflop play. meaning, they will check/call or bet if they have the A/K or check/fold if they miss regardless of what you do here. could the flop come AK7 and you get a weak 7 to fold? sure, but not often enough to make your meager winnings worth it. |

Re: 6 6max pf scenarios
In a PP microlimit game, I raise with any 2 cards against any opponent.
