KQs, overcall on river in a huge pot.
Party Poker 0.50/1 Hold'em (10 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx
Preflop: Hero is Button with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. 2 folds, UTG+2 calls, MP1 raises, MP2 calls, MP3 calls, 1 fold, Hero calls, SB calls, BB calls, UTG+2 calls. Flop: (14 SB) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (7 players) SB checks, BB checks, UTG+2 checks, MP1 bets, MP2 calls, MP3 calls, Hero raises, SB calls, BB folds, UTG+2 folds, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, MP3 calls. Turn: (12 BB) K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (5 players) SB checks, MP1 bets, MP2 calls, MP3 raises, Hero 3-bets, SB folds, MP1 calls, MP2 folds, MP3 calls. River: (22 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players) MP1 bets, MP3 calls, Hero calls. Final Pot: 25 BB I think I'm ok with the cold call PF, enough people have entered and I'm not quite strong enough for a 3-bet with no read on MP1. I raise the flop out of pot equity. MP1 leads the turn again which isn't looking good with the K falling. After MP3 raises I know I'm at least calling with my TP2K and flush draw, but I decided to 3-bet because I'm pretty strong and I'd like to see how MP1 reacts. The river brings one of the three cards I wouldn't like to see. Even after MP3 calls the pot is so big I felt I had to call. What do you think? Would you do anything differently? |

Re: KQs, overcall on river in a huge pot.
Preflop: With so many guys in the pot i think a cold call is OK.
Flop: Good raise, EQUITY(although its not to the nuts). Turn: Nice card, Fine play IMO. River: Ouchy but pot is so big its a crying call... Messy hand and unlucky it didn't come in(although i get an idea they may of been on flush draw also? MP1). No reads? Good hand. |

I don't 3-bet the turn. Rest is fine. Folding on this river is awful btw.

Hmm yeah, Take my comments back.
he preflop raised and i dont see you being ahead even wen you spike the king... your in it for the flush draw so calling seems best. POKhER. |

Can't fold the river. .50/1.00 players on PP are terrible. There's at least a 4% chance you're good here. Call because the pot is beyond huge.
If you folded the winner in a 26 BB pot would you ever be able to live with yourself? |

I don't see any way in hell you are winning this hand. MP3 wakes up and raises the turn, I would not 3 bet him here. I would call the turn and fold the river. Over calling is never good, especially on that A.
