Default Poorly played King Kong

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (9 handed) converter

Hero ($101.20)
Button ($130.25)
SB ($73.95)
BB ($21.30)
UTG ($33)
UTG+1 ($42.45)
MP1 ($82.50)
MP2 ($107.10)
MP3 ($112.90)

Preflop: Hero is CO with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
UTG calls $1, 2 folds, MP2 calls $1, MP3 raises to $3, Hero calls $3, 1 fold, SB calls $2.50, BB calls $2, UTG calls $2, MP2 calls $2.

Pre-flop play on my part is awful. Raises were (past [censored] tense) getting respect and I don't want to chase MP2 whom I am watching closely for fish purposes. Anywho, for reference I re-raise here quite a bit.

Flop: ($18) T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (6 players)
SB checks, BB checks, UTG checks, MP2 checks, MP3 checks, Hero bets $10, SB raises to $30, BB folds, UTG folds, MP2 folds, MP3 folds, Hero ?

Thoughts: WTF would he make it that much w/ a set? Is he really that dumb to check-raise w/ AJ? I have no read on SB. I can't see how in the world this guy could put me on KK. Something like J10 also possible?

Reraise pre-flop, you don't wanna play this in a multi-way pot. As it was played, I probably fold. I don't think I'll see QQ or AJ often enough.

Yeah, preflop was beyond awful, you have got to reraise here to isolate and for information, as it is the way you played it you are now in quite the pickle. SB's hand holdings I"m assuming could definitely include J/10, 44, 10/10, also maybe J/J (any reads on small blinds as to whether he'd 3-bet this kind of hand preflop?) He also could have a drawing hand like QK, 8/9 suited, and much wider than that even depending on reads. I think before we give you any more substantive advice we're going to need to know if you have any kind of read on sb at all. I'm thinking his most likely holding is J/10, but at these limits he may be perfectly capable of checkraising A/J, hell even maybe K/J, and the draws I mentioned. You're in a rough spot here that you shouldn't be in because of your preflop play, but I guess you know that.

Agreed pre-flop is where this ship goes down. However, you can sleep better knowing I re-pop it here quite a bit.

FWIW I can't see this guy making it $30 into this big a field with a draw. This is a made hand IMHO.

I think I would be more concerned if he flat called than raised too. This is why this spot stinks.
