Default 5th break

Well, so much for not doing anything stupid...

Down to 18000. Charged full-bore into KK with TPTK and there I was under 10K. Doubled up next hand with AQo, though.

26995 at the break.

Question:

I get dealt TT in MP, UTG+1 opens for 3x (He is not overly loose) and I have hime covered. Call, raise, or fold?

I called, as did the CO, and the BB. Flop come 69J (2 Spades) checks to me, I check (I should bet that though huh?)

Checks through, turn completes the flush BB leads out for a small bet, PFR calls the bet, I fold.

grrrrrrrrr, I went like 1-6 in all in showdowns today, damm it. GL to you redsox. FWIW, dont make big bets in the turn, after leading the flop when it's obvious you don't have the best hand.

True, Ive played with Jonietiela before and hes given me a lot of problems before with his lag play. Havnt found a read on hime yet, and he always gets the best of me...

built a decent stack early

lost most of it to a couple suckouts

got some of it back by sucking out

found out that a resteal doesnt work well when guy has kings

Default The End

118th.

Got on a tough table and no cards. Just reraised with AQ, next guy pushed, table leader called, original raiser folded...I only had 3200 left. Pusher had TT, caller had T6c. Flopped me an OESD with 2 clubs, no further help, out I go.

I've wanted my 2nd table back for about 2 hours...aside from a nice stack, the occasional steal worked and I was getting cards like crazy...the first couple hours I had AA three times, KK once, QQ/JJ/TT twice each, a couple AK/AQ...it was beautiful. Then I moved and I think the best pair I saw in the last 90 minutes was 33.

Ah well. I've never played in an event remotely this big before, and given that I'd say lasting 6 hours and finishing almost in the top 20% is fairly respectable. Except for one hand where I gave away 2/3 of my stack, I think I played pretty respectably.

Default End of Day 1

Still in with 63k, good for 28th place. Got pretty lucky and got tons of action with AA today. Why is the prize pool for this tourney still not up? Gl to all still in.
