i've had an in-n-out burger, and the whataburgers here in texas are far superior.

I've had Whataburger and In-n-Out, I'm from the East coast with no real built in geographical bias, and In-n-Out is superior on freshness and taste.

animal style with well done fries and a neopolitan shake

With In-n-Out, the correct answer for a drink is nearly always the chocolate shake. I just moved away from Vegas and now I have 0 In-n-Out, it is sad, but I am healthier.

Hmmm not very close to Maryland. Very disapointing. Oh well, one more thing to look forward to during my first Vegas trip.

No way. The in-n-outs are basically like a mcdonalds 1/4 with cheese...meat/bun/cheese/couple of pickles...at least that was my take when i was there, i had a double double animal style with animal style fries.

Good to be sure, but a whataburger with a sliced jalapeno on it is 10x better and closer to what a burger would taste like if you cooked a real one on your grill in the backyard.

I do LOVE the animal style fries tho...best of the fast food joints IMO.

I'll give Whataburger another chance next time I'm out there. Probably somwhere on the way from Dallas to Winstar for that thing we shall not mention.

This time, I'll get jalapeno on it.
