If the game is seriously so overaggressive you can't fold to the cap you have no business trying to steal with 96s. You almost have to have done something wrong if you're putting in 4 bets 3 ways preflop with this hand.

96s is borderline, but there are a lot of hands that do well against their capping range and in a game like this you have to mix it up some.

This is why I don't normally steal with this hand. But I had not been stealing at all this session simply due to a lack of good hands. I had not really been involved much, so I thought I'd give it a shot. I do think that calling the cap is correct.

I guess if they're capping basically any broadway so you're not against 99+ that often, you can get away with it.

You're getting 5 to 1 to call the cap. I don't think there are any conditions under which you could fold here.
