I cant call the river, right ?
Dont have hand history, but it was something like this...
1/2 NL 6-seater, Button has a "Very LAG" note, and this is only the second hand for SB in this table, thus no reads. I have both covered. 3 Folds Button Bets 4$ SB calls 4$ Hero [9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 10[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]] calls 4$ FLOP : K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] SB checks Hero bets 10$ Button folds Sb calls 10$ Turn J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] SB bets 36$ Hero calls 36$ River K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] SB goes allin for 98 Hero ? Raise the turn ? Fold the river ? What ? |

Re: I cant call the river, right ?
IMO Raise turn. The way you played, you cant call river if you dont have very good reads.

Re: I cant call the river, right ?
Easy fold, I think. You only beat a bluff.
Two pair on the board is just a disappointment that happens sometimes. |

Re: I cant call the river, right ?
Do we raise the turn to charge the A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] for drawing to the nut flush and a Jack for drawing to a full house?

Re: I cant call the river, right ?
raise to get value from lag.
if it was a different villain, I would have no problems with calling the turn. |
