What was the point of your river bet if not to fold to a raise?

Looks like you answered your own question right here. What hand does a player fitting this description push with that you beat?

turn check is not that bad as others make it out to be. I think you have to check-call river though....bet-fold is the worst line based on turn play, he could easily be on a bluff and put you on some sort or KT or KK-JJ hand and figure you couldn't call allin, or could be vlaue betting any ace.

I think turn check is bad. I say bet 125 into 200 pot on turn. You can fold to reraise, as it will be boat, bigger Ace, etc.

The 125ish bet will look like a giant hand if he has no hand. If he calls, Check river and fold to significant bet.

TERRIBLY PLAYED. THE PREFLOP RAISE IS TERRIBLE, AND YOU NEED TO FOLD THAT FLOP SINCE HE OBVIOUSLY HAS A-T FOR TWO PAIR. YOUR POT-ODDS WERE ALSO TERRIBLE, THIS SHOULD BE AN EASY CHECK/FOLD ON THE FLOP. TERRIBLE, JUST TERRIBLE.
