How do I play AKs here, pre- and post-flop?

Go all-in. There is a chance for a KK or QQ to fold.

[160$ stacks on flop] Against AA your EV is about 20$, against KK 70$, against QQ 100$. If everybody folds you gain 200$.

You should bet less than all-in only if you think you gain more fold equity that way.

There is another way to play this, player dependent. You can check-raise if you can be "sure" that the player w/ AA, KK, QQ will bet AND there is a possibility that a player will move on the pot with nothing or a flush draw. Rare situation.

if anyone is curious, i pushed all-in there. got someone to fold TT. everyone folded to the last guy, who called off his last $81 with 9h7h. not that it matters since i got my money in with the best of it, but he caught a 9 to win the ~$375 pot.

any additional tips, please post; i'd still love to hear your opinion.

Im curious, why wouldnt he fold to a push? All he has is a flush draw and overcards on a paired board, thats been raised to hell and back. Im not saying you guys are wrong, just trying to learn what you point of view is.
Personally i make a probe bet on the flop and if i get raised again, i let it go.

What are the reasons that this isnt a good play?

Under different circumstances there wouldn't be any problem with that play but the fact that there is $212 in the pot, the next biggest stack has about $160, and Hero has the nut flush draw with two overs, it would be horrible to fold to any bet. There are two hands that he is pretty much drawing dead to and that's 88 and 22, any other hand except AA and KK he's either a huge favorite or a slight favorite.

Let's say he does bet out $60 like somebody suggested and somebody pushes all in for $150, why would he fold for $90 into a $422 pot? He's getting about 4.8/1 on a call with the 2 overs and the nut flush draw, when he has 15 outs which makes him better than 1/1 to hit.

? for the OP, where are you playing that people call $40 pre flop in 1/2 with 97s? I would love to play in that, I'm sure it's live game, hopefully in NYC so I can get there, lol.
