TT in LP vs possible QQ or flush draw in MP
How would you play the following:
I've got T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] in LP. En pretty good player sitting in MP limps in, I raise, everbody folds except the MP who calls. Thie flop is: 2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. MP checks, I bet, he calls. The turn is Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] MP bets, I ??? Should I assume that he has another Q and fold? My odds for another T aren't all that good, but he could also be sitting on A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]x [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] draw. How would you play this? |

Re: TT in LP vs possible QQ or flush draw in MP
my first thought is to raise and fold to a 3-bet. a flush draw here typically would just check/fold the river plus he might have a 7 or another pocket pair that figures you for UI overcards- these hands will pay the extra BB now and maybe another on the river, so you earn the max when ahead and lose the same when behind. so part of my decision is his postflop aggression, but bet/fold to a 3-bet is probably my line here.

This is more along my way of thinking too. He may also be playing this as a scare card (especially if he has Axs.). Another option would be to check/call this down as it will save you a bet or two.
However, would you ever consider folding this heads-up situation? |
