Default KQo against some tricky aggression

only 8 hands on villian

Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is Button with Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, SB calls, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>.

Flop: (5 SB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">SB 3-bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero caps</font>, SB calls.

Turn: (6.50 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
SB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">SB raises</font>, Hero calls.

River: (10.50 BB) K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">SB 3-bets</font>, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 16.50 BB

Felt very sloppy with all the raising going on and felt like I was getting outplayed.

Capping the flop without a specific read is semi-spewing IMO. It seems you let too much money go into the pot with a mediocre hand. Even though you made top two on the river I don't think I would raise as a set seems sooo likely given the previous action.

I think the flop cap is spewing without a read. I'd call his 3 bet on the flop and lead the turn, calling down the rest of the way if he raises.

But the way you played it I think the turn c/r means you're done and looks like a fold. He either has AQ, QJ (not as likely because of the flop 3 bet), or a set from all his agression and the strong move on the turn. On the River, I'd say its borderline between just calling his bet and raising. But raising looks better.
