Default Books for low-limit stud or stud theory?

Alright, I tried the search function, but didn't have much luck, so feel free to flame if I didn't do a good enough job, but links or real advice would be appreciated: does anyone have any suggestions for micro- and low-limit stud games (.50/1 through 2/4)? Would 7-Card Stud for Advanced Players be helpful for these limits? I assume this is the standard text for stud theory in general, at least. I've got some good experience at these levels but have never really tried to formally learn strategy for the game. Thanks...

You are right, you didn't do a very good job. I just tried the search function and it took about a minute to get a list several pages long of postings on 7-card stud.

Here's how you do it:

1. Click on "Search" at the top of the page

2. Click on "Books and Publications" under "Forum to Search"

3. Type "stud" in "Keyword search terms" and click the button next to "in subject"

4. Set the date range for 6 months

5. Click on "Submit"

I'd also suggest some extensive reading in the Stud Forum.

Winning seven card stud by roy west is a good book. Especially for low limits. At least now I can be the nut peddling nits at 1-5 stud bastards

Read the 7 card stud sticky; in summary, just read Theory of Poker first and then Seven Card Stud For Advanced Players.

7cs is incredibly difficult to learn, so there's no real answer for you. Even in low limit games, proper strategy is far from obvious and changes based on many circumstances. Your best bet is it read and re-read seven card stud for advanced players as well as chip reese's section in super system 1. You might want to try to stud forum as well.
