typed in "KT" [/ QUOTE ] He probably thought the T played and was worried about being outkicked. And I really don't love it here. I think most people call with a K here. Glad it worked out for you, though. |

But most people aren't winning players. Most people are losing players because they call too much. So maybe we shouldn't bluff them, eh? |

Re: results
you have to make him laydown the winner at least 78,5% of the time to be EV+ with your all in.
Then i think it's way too risky to justify that move. If your opponent is kinda solid and he thinks you are, then a slight overbet (125% of the pot) should be enough to make him laydown a king. What's more, with your risky play, you will make him laydown a few hands that you beat. After all, you open raised on the cut off, he may well have called with 77. I don't like that all in. Think it's EV- with such a big stack (278$ to take a 76-Rake=73$ pot) |

Re: results
I think its a toss up. If you bet less your risk of getting called is higher, making him call the all-in with K high puts him at a much greater challenge, and it's also a far more aggressive move. People are psychological, and when you want them to fold in a tough spot, sometimes its better to play it by that card then by the math card.
And of course, that whole Caro's Law of Loose Wiring thing really comes into play |
