How much to bet here?
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.02 BB (6 handed) converter
UTG ($2) MP ($3.53) CO ($2.49) Button ($1.47) SB ($3.27) Hero ($2.93) Preflop: Hero is BB with 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. UTG raises to $0.04, MP calls $0.04, CO calls $0.04, 1 fold, SB calls $0.03, Hero calls $0.02. Flop: ($0.20) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (5 players) SB checks, Hero checks, UTG bets $0.02, MP raises to $0.14, CO calls $0.14, SB folds, Hero calls $0.14, UTG folds. I had 3 outs and the way this table had been playing, I thought the implied odds justified the call. Re: How much to bet here?
Bad flop call, c/r all in on turn, no one will see this card completing your hand, and at these stakes, Id doubt the turn gets checked through.

Re: How much to bet here?
Hmm, didn't even think about check raising, but I guess it's pretty likely that someone else will bet just based on the fact that there are 3 players and the pot has gotten quite big.
Anyway, Turn: ($0.64) 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players) Hero bets $0.82, MP calls $0.82, CO calls $0.82. River: ($3.10) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players) Hero? |

Re: How much to bet here?
I like the c/r here because opponents will want to charge the draws and that way you can get all your money in ahead. The river sucked, and I dunno what to do. I can see the merits in betting .75 and folding to a raise, c/c, and c/folding. Id prob c/f as I cant see how one of these two fish doesnt have a flush. Then again, these stakes are so low you never know. Im betting you lost your stack to a flush, tough spot. DEF c/r all in on the turn.

Re: How much to bet here?
I've been in that spot on the flop b4 where you think you might just have implied odds to call because you will get paid off if you hit. Here though you are drawing to a none nut str8, with a two flush out against a 3/4 pot sized bet and a caller, either of which could have 2 pair or a set with redraws if you hit. You need to seriously discount your outs in this spot and therefore increase the implied odds you need considerably.

Re: How much to bet here?
Good point Skuzzy.
Here's the rest of it: River: ($3.10) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players) Hero checks, MP bets $2.53 (All-In), CO calls $1.49 (All-In), Hero folds. Final Pot: $7.12 MP showed 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] for the flush CO mucked Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] I was debating about wether I shoulda went all in on the turn. Was the turn bet not high enough? Was the MP correct in calling it? |

Re: How much to bet here?
Fold on the flop next time.
The turn bet was more than high enough, neither player was correct in calling. |

Re: How much to bet here?
fold preflop, fold the flop.
you bet enough on the turn but these guys are calling stations. you got what you wanted just bad river. next time don't draw to a hand that has a lot of redraws if you hit. |
