I don't know if you have any influence on such things, but the sound balance is pretty weird. The table sounds are louder than Tom, which seems silly.

The sound balance sucks.
The first video is better than the 2nd as far as sound balance.
Deal with it.
It sucks, but its worth a viewing...

I'm not going to bother with the second, then. The first one's good for beginners who play too many hands I suppose, but I doubt there are too many people here who would be helped by it.

I think the best part of these videos is getting a better grasp on when to start playing with aggression with relation to blinds/chip stack/players left etc...
I think this mainly applies to Turbos, but these concepts can be applied much further than that in many tourney forms...

I liked Nacarno's 94 call in the first one. Tom calls it a substandard call. What do you think?

From the 30:00 minute mark on is of greater interest. The concept is interesting what they are doing.

The 94s play was one of those on the fence plays where either position could be argued. He is most likely between 32-40% to win the pot.

Although I am not a pro, I thought this was a horrible call. It was another 300 or so for him to call and at best he only at two live cards.

However, there must be something appealing about these types of hands because my most recent venture has been into short handed tournaments where it seems I will have a high pair 10 - AA and get cracked by something absolutely horrible. Just yesterday it was 2 handed and I had AA, I was raised on the button so I pushed all in. It was about 700 more chips to the original raiser and I was called with 8 2. He wasn't the short stack or high stack he was right in the middle but he still called. Now, I was very happy and that is who you want to play against but with luck being on my side the flop gave him two pair and I couldn't pull anything from the turn and river .

Just my 2c.
