Oktoberfest, baby!
Oktoberfest! One more week and I will eat nothing but bratwurst, kraut, and beer for lunch & dinner the whole weekend. God bless the germans!
I want to buy a beer stein. A serious beer stein. One to be proud of. |

Re: Oktoberfest, baby!
No Oktoberfest for me... We celebrate Kirtchtag and have about 100 people every year (7th anual) 3 weeks (Oct 16th) till we party down and we'll be having homemade boar sausage this year... hell yeah!
Enjoy it! |

Don't forget the schnitzel! Oh and the beer wenches! [/ QUOTE ] LOL that reminds me of "schnitzen gruben" from Blazing Saddles. "Fifteen is my limit on schnitzen gruben!" |

Gemulichkeit! [/ QUOTE ] Close, but no cigar. How long are you staying in Germany? If you say you're going to stay long enough to catch the World Cup, I'll be pretty jealous. |

Re: Oktoberfest, baby!
Oktoberfest is huge in La Crosse, September 30-October 8. I predict a few classes being attended drunk during this time, all in good fun.
