It just took me five minutes to work out why there are seven sets of three letters in your name and six combinations, and which one appeared twice........

Of course, no actual combination appears twice.

nilcarborundum = "don't let the bastards grind you down" in latin. Something I've always professed, but which takes on a whole new meaning after I started playing poker and kept losing money to people grinding it out...

Bastards.

Trying to take a charge in a pickup basketball game like a dumbass and getting my front tooth knocked completely out by an elbow

+

Sticking it back in, only to have the root decay years later requiring the tooth's permanent removal

+

Receiving a retainer with fake tooth attached to wear for 8 weeks, letting the gums heal up before getting a permanent bridge put in

+

Party trick of taking my retainer out and walking around with a missing front tooth

+

Being a 5th year senior/oldest guy in my fraternity at the time

=

"Dude, you look like a Grandpa." Hey, Gramps

Name has stuck ever since.

Salvador Dali fan, more so when I first got a permanent screenname.

My initial 2+2 name was clocwork, for "A Clockwork Orange", but my aol email was clocwork cuz other permutations were taken.

Neither my last name or my first name are Gordon. My friend and I had this inside joke about this janitor at school and we always referred to him as Gordon. Now all of my names on the skins are either Mr, Mrs, Ms, Dr: _Gordon
