I'm from cleveland area the brown Secondary sucks. There offense is alright but agaist GB any offense can look good.
I think this game will be similar to the Cincy game. We all knew how that turned out.
Just my 2 cents

DUDE! THE BROWNS SUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK
INDY WILL CRUSH THEM

The sad thing is that I'm currently -$1200 in the 3+1 Challenge. So maybe my condescension is inappropriate.

Looks to me like Jacksonville is fast becoming a popular bar stool pick this week.
Even though the Jets haven't looked like world beaters, I think this is mostly due to the fact that Jax played a "tough, gritty" game against the media darlings of the league - the Colts.
Two things:
#1 - The Jets didn't look that bad last week. They were stopped on a 4th & goal from the 1, and their much maligned offense answered the bell after Miami's only score of the game (a critical possession) and the game was never really in doubt in the last 10 minutes.
#2 - I think if Leftwich played in the Big City, we'd hear less about the guy's toughness and more about his offense's inability to score points consistently. Unless Taylor has a big game, I think he'll be a sitting duck for the Jets pass-rush.

I gotta believe that Denver, Miami and Chicago are the BSPs this week...possibly the 49ers as well

I would guess the Eagles, Bengals, Chiefs and Panthers as BSPs this week.

Indy for sure is the #1 BSP pick this week. And yeah, I like Indy - everyone likes Indy - that's why its the BSP pick. Because you look at the game and instinctively think that Indy is going to score 40+ and cover in the first five minutes. But that's why i'm fading the BSPs again this week and recommending taking the +14.

St. Louis is certainly #2.

Philly I think is #3 - everyone seems to see them blowing up on the Raiders, ignoring that McNabb and TO are both banged up and that the Raiders are approaching a must-win.

Also, someone mentioned Denver as a BSP pick - just about everyone I've seen in the media nationwide is taking KC - I don't see Denver as a BSP pick at all...

I believe the Eagles, Jags, 49ers, Bengals, Bears, Vikings, Argonauts, Rhein Fire, and the U.S. Presidents Cup team are bar stool picks this week.

When I'm saying Denver s/b a BSP pick, I don't mean that Denver is who Bar Stool Pundits like, I mean it's who you'd bet on if you were going with the BSP theory. Everyone likes KC to win straight, though Denver is a 3 pt fav, so take Denver. So I guess I'm just putting it differently.

Big favs are tough to fit into how I consider the BSP theory, there's no mystery as to who everyone is going to like straight up. Who but a Browns fan is going to pick them to win in Indy? Against the spread, people tend to go with favorites if they have to make a pick. I looked at the nationwide Pig Skin Pick'Em picks from people using the spread in their weekly pools, and Indy is getting about 68%. I don't think that says much, and so I don't think that game should be a BSP pick myself.

The 4 games that were 3 to 1 in terms of spread picks in the ESPN pools actually were Den-KC, Cin-Chi, Car-Mia, and SF-Dal. Straight up is significant for all those games as well (although we must keep in mind that Dal is a 6 1/2 pt fav).

Do we actually have a consensus on what the Bar Stool Picks are this week? Or are we guessing at what the public is picking?
