Default Correct call from small blind

I'm interested in what this board thinks is the correct play from the small blind in the following scenario. Typical $20-40 game. 5 limpers to the small blind who has 2,8 of hearts. The small blind will therefore be getting 13-1 odds to call if no raise from the big blind. Is a call correct. Assuming a call and the big blind raises, and all five limpers call again, what is now correct call from the small blind(who is still getting the same odds to call)?
