Default Foxwoods

I will be in Hartford this Thurs. - Monday. I'm hoping to find a ride to the Foxwoods. How far is it from Hartford to the Foxwoods? Is there a shuttle or bus? Whould a cab be too expensive? What kind of tournaments will they be running this weekend?

About an hour down route 2.

I would think so, I call a local bus company and see, I'm sure others here might know.

I would think so.

To add to what Larry Joe said, the weekend tournies start at 10:00 AM, but you need to be there by 8:30 to avoid getting shut out.

Actually, for this Saturday only, the normal limit HE tourney does NOT start at 10am, due to the FARGO NLH tourney. They are starting us at 10am, and I think the regular tourney has been moved either to 9am or 11am, but I'm sorry I don't remember which. Call the poker room to find out. 1-800-PLAY-BIG.

I don't know why you don't just go to foxwoods.com and get all this yourself, but anyway if you don't want to rent a car the bus is $20 and you'll get some coupons ...

Larry,

How did you place the quotes from the prior text in the style boxes when you responded?

Go to www.conjelco.com/fargo or to www.fargopoker.com for details. It is similar to BARGE, the annual LV outing for people who post on rgp. You have to be registered at the conjelco website to be allowed to enter any of the FARGO tourneys, and the deadline for registration is past.

While I prefer this forum, I still monitor rgp almost daily. It is a good source for news and gossip. Unfortunately, I seldom see any worthwhile poker strategy posts there anymore. Years ago, well before 2+2 started this website, rgp was the only place to go on the net for poker content.

If you read it regularly, you would've seen the notices for FARGO. I would've posted about it here, but since it's an rgp function, it didn't seem appropriate.

If you're at FW this Saturday, feel free to ask me about FIHUPT4 at my house that night. If we don't fill the event completely with FARGOers, I will be glad to invite some 2+2ers.
