Good push?
Hi, My name is Joe. Been reading 2+2 a while, but this is my first post. (wish i found this site sooner, woulda saved me a gajillon dollars)
1/2 NL Anyways hero (me!) is in late position with JJs, one ahead of the button. UTG folds, UTG+1 raises to 10, 3 callers, folds to hero, hero busts an all-in move with $140. UTG+1 calls, UTG+2 calls. Hero cries. |

Re: Good push?
Why not reraise to 60 and see if one or more come over the top with a push. If they do, you can let the hand go pretty easily. Another route, and probably the one I would take, would be to just call preflop w/o reraising and play the flop accordingly. What is the point in pushing...you are only going to get called by AA, KK, and maybe QQ and AK.

Re: Good push?
i really prefer a flat call with position. i think this push only gets called by hands that beat u.

Re: Good push?
Re-raise 50% of your stack and then fold getting probably around 4:1 odds on your money? Gross.
Just call .... |
