19 left in a 100+9. 19th pays 600, 18th pays 1100, first pays 25k. there is no one in immediate danger of busting on the other tables or on mine (except the SB, obviously).

blinds are 1.5k/3k
button (~60k) min-raises (i.e., raises enough)
SB (4.3k total) calls
Hero (2.5k left after posting 3k) with 93o.

if i call, there is a total of 2.4k in the side.

Nowhere near qual'd to opine but....The SB is in for his stack and unless he's a total monkfish, he's got to be better than 93o and the button's range is HUGE but don't see how you can fold. There's so much in the middle and even though you're most likely behind, you still have to hope, right [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

If the SB has a legit hand and prevails, you're still out in 19th. Folding is no real fighting chance unless you can pick up somethign better than 93o in the sb and that's likely....still think you have to call though.

Running some numbers in my head, I tend to think it is a pretty close decision. I don't have the time to analyze it in detail but I'd be surprised if it was very clear in either direction.

I think you call here. At least they have a good chance of being live.
If you fold you'll basically have to go all-in the next hand with much less in the middle. That is what seals the deal for me.

Bleh.. i think it's a call.. you have more then SB so if you both get knocked out you'll get the extrra 500.. and your cards should atlest be live.

If you dont play two crappy cards here, you're gonna have to do it next hand anyway...

i was thinking the two options were to call now and then likely fold my SB (assuming the current SB does not bust now) to have ~7 hands to try to make the next pay bump.

I agree, and even if you do get to play AA or something next hand, you have to play it for a lot less money, so you're as good as dead anyway. I think I push here and hope the min raiser beats us both of us.

i guess... i think probably better off to take the chancee now.. if you triple up, you actualy have a shot at more.

and the chance of 25k should outweight the 500 you'd gain. And theres no guaranteee you get hte 500 by folding.
