Flimsy Top Pair on Flop, and Pot Sized Raise was Called
Party $5 R+A, BB300.
Reads: SB will bet just about any hand if first to act. UTG is a big stack recently moved to this table, nothing more. Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t300 (10 handed) converter UTG (t11399) UTG+1 (t2250) UTG+2 (t3325) MP1 (t3445) MP2 (t11269) MP3 (t14800) CO (t6987) Button (t9450) SB (t6511) Hero (t3604) Preflop: Hero is BB with J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Turn: (t4100) Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players), Hero? Do I bet at this again? Should I have just pushed on the flop? My thinking is a pot sized raise on the flop would push out middle/bottom pairs and draws. The Q on the turn, plus the flop call by UTG looks like a straight might have been hit; or still drawing to diamonds. |

Re: Flimsy Top Pair on Flop, and Pot Sized Raise was Called
You're in for 1/2 of your stack. I think you need to suck it up and pray you hit your straight. I usually play this tournament too. This cold call usually means a set. Tho, if hes a complete donk it could be a flush draw.
In conclusion, just push the turn. |

Push the turn, no other choice.
