Re: Tingling in arm (serious)
[ QUOTE ]
My guess is that it is terminal cancer. You have 6 weeks to live. [/ QUOTE ] That's not nice Sponger! Poor guy is genuinely concerned about his health! Seriously dude. I think it's cancer. Cut off your arm before it spreads! If it continues, suicide is painless. Sure beats all that chemo. |

Re: Tingling in arm (serious)
If it doesn't subside I would definately have it checked out. Tingling or numbness, in the left arm, is never a good thing and could be quite serious.

Re: Tingling in arm (serious)
[ QUOTE ]
Oddly enough, I have had the same type of sensation...but only in one finger in my hand. My pinky finger on my left hand and the corresponding part of the palm has felt like it's been asleep for roughly 2 weeks. It's very very strange. I thought it might be carpal tunnel, as I type a LOT everyday, but I'm not sure. I have never really used a laptop before and I started using one this summer. The tingling is essentially where my palm/finger would rest on the keyboard, so I'm not sure if it's related...but it's definitely a huge pain in the ass. [/ QUOTE ] I have this exact same ailment (left pinky, left side of left hand) and exact same timeframe (went numb two weeks ago). My father thought it could be a vitamin B12 deficiency -- he said his sister and father experienced similar problems with their hands, and he himself with his foot once. I'm currently taking sublingual B12 vitamins, started Sunday. If it doesn't clear up by next Sunday, I'm seeing a doctor. Someone recommended calling a chiropractor, is this an option for you? |

Re: Tingling in arm (serious)
you either need a full frontal lobotomy or someone's gotta amputate that [censored] before it spreads.
its probably just a nerve reacting to the position you're in. if you're really worried, go to a doctor. im no doctor, i just talk out my ass. |

Re: Tingling in arm (serious)
I was bothered by this about a year and a half ago and I have a friend who has the same thing now.
I was under stress at work and not getting any exercise at the time. I noticed that after I quit my job and started exercising, the tingling went away. I am not sure what it is/was. Beginnings of blocked artery maybe? |

Re: Tingling in arm (serious)
You were puttin pressure on a nerve for cryin out loud! Don't lay like that anymore. If it doesn't go away in a couple weeks it prolly means that you have a pinched nerve. In that case, go to a doctor.
