Re: \"Official\" Live at the Bike thread (9/19)
The last time they did a low limit game, it needed Kenna AND Shirley to spice the game up, as they made the 8/16 game exciting to watch.

what was Kenna's reaction when the ten came out? [/ QUOTE ] He looked like he just took a high-velocity bowling ball right in the stomach. |

I'm guessing you missed the early part of the show, but Kenna took it amazingly well, but that's how Kenna is.

His name is actually Barry James Greenstein Woods, or BJGW for short.

[ QUOTE ] Can someone describe to me what happened in the big hand between Kenna James and James Woods? Thanks a lot [/ QUOTE ] alright, this is pure speculation based on what ive heard. i didnt see the hand but i think that kenna flopped two pair and james had either TPTK or an over pair. the money went in and the river paired tens. thus, giving woods a better two pair. maybe? Re: Fridays Big Hand?
Wow, that 3000 bet on the turn was utterly retarded. The 54 laydown is not the greatest laydown in history. Stop overplaying the laydown.
A bet of 1000 would be much better than the 3000. If you can't get away from that hand, dave, then you really should stop playing. Dave. Count with me 4 6's 3 5's 3 3's 3 2's 13 outs. Also, I know that working 5 days > 4 days. However, you're working 15 hours on the 5 day schedule and 16 hours on the old schedule. |

Re: \"Official\" Live at the Bike thread (9/19)
Interesting night - nobody wanted to put money in?!? good poker, but not great TV...
As for the hand on Friday night that we discussed...Not the "hand" - but the hand where Mo called Ed with pocket aces. It pains me to do this - but after careful consideration and thinking about it more, I have to agree with Jive. there, I said it...oh, what is the world coming to?!? I'm not sure if it was a good call or not - kind of depends on what Mo thought Ed might have...but obviously running it once or three times doesn't affect the odds. If it was a bad call running it once. It is clearly a bad call running it 3 times. That's the great thing about poker - you can have intelligent debates about hands. In the end, there is rarely a "right" play - but arguing about which one is right is alot of fun. In this case, I was clearly wrong. Thanks for watching! As always, feel free to send me a private message with any questions or concerns. See ya tomorrow. |
