Yes, not 100% of republicans supported privitization but Dems in the senate used procedual moves so that Social Security privitization was dead in the water despite the fact it did have the votes to pass an up or down vote.

Again, let me restate my original post isnt a justification for everything President Bush has done or will do - it was a call for civility.
