Jeff,
Here are a few articles from the Washington Post this week. There has been an article every day this week in the Post about gambling in Md. Its gonna happen. Somewhere I read that they ditched the recent slot plan that was making news because they want to do something larger scale! They want Casinos! If they do build Casinos all us Marylander have to petition for Poker rooms! I am serious lol

Wow, I don't know how I missed these three articles! Go Steve Wynn...if he gets his casinos, I think there will be poker here (as he has traditionally had them at his properties). I'm all for it and will be rooting for it to succeed!

Default My story.......

Here's my experience with Neteller. Take it for what it's worth. I live in Maryland and have been using Neteller for over a year. A few days before the Pokerstars WCOOP, I went to make a deposit so I could play some of the big tourneys and not kill my stars bankroll. It goes through like normal until I click confirm and I got the same notice Ace did. Upset that I had waited til the last minute, I emailed Neteller the following email: "I just tried to make a deposit into my Neteller account and was notified that Neteller no longer accepts transfers from residents of Maryland. Why is that now your policy and why wasn't I notified of the change?". To this they replied

"Effective Immediately

NETeller has chosen to no longer accept funds transferred from members located in the State of Maryland to NETeller.

If you are a resident of Maryland and you have funds in your NETeller account, you can still withdraw your funds or transfer them to a merchant.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If you have any questions, please contact Customer Service at 1-888-258-5859."................. Oh, well that clears things up. Hey, I got a good joke for you: Why did the chicken cross the road? Answer: The chicken crossed the road. I still don't know why, nor do I care, but it is curious that billb is able to make deposits. Maybe they have a non-Maryland addres on file for him. So the way I figure it, I would've won at least 500k in the Wcoop tourneys, so thats what Neteller cost me.
