Default River Bluff Check/Raise

The villian here is a bit tight, but overall fairly decent. I really had a feel when he bet the river that he was taking a stab at it. Since I didn't like the idea of just calling, I tried raising to get him to fold. How bad?

What does a decent player call the flop with not closing the action? Answer that and you will discover what to do on the river.

You're getting real bad odds on a river check/raise bluff.
