What game is this?

I've heard of this game before but I don't remember what it's called or what the rules are. I think it's a draw game, four cards, and your hand has to be rainbow.

Can someone tell me what it's called and a brief rundown of the rules? Thanks.

It's called padooki or badugi usually. Apparently, the word is straight from some East Asian language which has caused the confusion.

It's 4 card lowball with ace to five rankings. The twist is that only one card of a suit plays and only one card from a pair plays.

So, KKKK is the worst possible hand as a one card king high. A234 all of different suits is the best hand.
