Gutsy offer. As was mentioned above, I would also be wary of revealing that much of my play to the forum (not to mention dtdogs valid concern about someone sweating and playing against you at the same time). That said, I admire your willingness to contemplate the idea and think it would be of great benefit to whoever was sweating you.

hero: so you don't play queens huh?

Quote from my roommate's friend, after showing down K2o to lose a pot with kicker trouble:

"You know, I shouldn't be playing these kinds of hands -- but I can just never let a King go."

My first B&M experience, I was playing 3/6. Nice young guy is sitting next to me playing about 50% of his hands. He makes great comments like "I'll play any two suited" for about 2 hours. Then, after losing about two racks, stands up and goes "I'm having such a bad day. I always got out-kicked!" and leaves.

I haven't been around for a long time, just starting to get back into lurking. People used to post their last 100 hands or an entire tournament for commentary or to show how they played, so I don't see why this would be any different.

If you're worried about giving away too much info, only discuss the hands where you would have VPIP stats, maybe?

Require people to private message you their AIM/chat IDs, so everyone knows upfront who's in the chat and that if they're a complete ass/abuse this opportunity you've given, they won't be allowed back and will probably be harassed in the forum about it.

Also, depending on how interactive you intend to be, even 3 tables might be too much, I don't know. If you're just going to tell people what you have, what you bet, and let them discuss, not a big deal. If you're going to explain your actions/thought process for teaching purposes (which I really hope is the case), it may be difficult to play 3+ tables at the same time.

Either way, I hope it works out and I hope to get to watch sometime, would be great to watch.

Al

Too funny. Quoting a friend of mine from his first live casino game, after taking down a massive pot from 2 flopped sets (AA & QQ) by spiking a runner-runner flush w/72s(everybody all-in on flop):

"You just gotta love suited cards!"

I loaned him TOP the next day.

Ah, this is a good point which I didn't even think about. Ha. Hm. Anyone have good idea around this? I was hoping to have it be a forum event type thing. But obviously telling the general internet which cards I'm playing at a poker table does pose a certain problem...

[/ QUOTE ]

hmm that is a big problem. maybe you can add a delay. like tell your cards after the hand is over. this would of course not be as fun but it might be the best option.

Well, along the same lines. The MicroPoster thing is still going strong in micros. We did it here once, but after that it seemed to falter. If we were to do it here regularly, it would be of great benefit.

OK, here's what this is looking like. I think I will try to do this over the weekend since that is probably best from an availability standpoint. I will try to do it this weekend. Either Friday night or Saturday during the day US East Coast time. I will confirm the time tomorrow probably. I think the best bet might be for me to play only 1 (or maybe 2) tables. Seems like people will be fine with watching NL200. I will host an AIM chat group for it. People who are interested should PM me with "SWEAT-" and then their AIM screen names IN THE SUBJECT OF THE PM (I don't want to have to open a whole bunch of PMs so don't bother typing anything in the body). It will be open to anybody who is interested but if I even SUSPECT something weird happening like one random dude taking shots at me or whatever then I'll just shut it down immediately and the experiment will be over. Everyone will just be on boy scout's honor not to be a douche. Remember, giving out my hole cards is simply stealing hundreds of dollars from someone trying to do people a favor. So please don't do it.
